One of the things we love about being here is that there are so many great things so close by.

Within walking distance from our apartment (about 5 minutes) is the JW Marriott Tower. The building is the tallest in Panamá, and the best part is that there is a bar on the very top floor, the 66th. it was recently renovated and just reopened in April.

Every so often we like to go for drinks, right around sunset. It’s a bar and not really a restaurant. They have some small bits and burgers – though with American ++ prices (the burger is $29!). Fortunately, the drinks are much more reasonable.

This night it was a bit cloudy, but very clear.

We got a table right next to the infinity pool they have on the floor, and the whole are is open. Their lemon drop is quite good!

Even without a spectacular sunset, it’s interesting to see the view change as night settles in.

We love being able to walk here, and it’s one of our top spots to bring visitors.
